Romania
I love travelling and seeing the world. I have visited Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Uganda. I love to meet the people and experience the culture and learn lots about myself and about my faith and how western I am and the need to extent my tent pegs and stretch myself. I am excited that some of the youth group are off to Uganda in July and I have encouraged yet more to make the most of opportunities that are presented to them. So last Tuesday I received a phone call saying would I like to go to Romania with the youth group from church as one of the female leaders can no longer go. I hesitated. I normally do Newday and with the limit to the number of days leave I can take I can only really do one, unless the NHS bosses will let me take unpaid leave. I know I will be exhausted after both, and which ever I choose I will be letting someone down. So after asking God, and not really hearing much, other than being impressed by what I preach to the young people I have decided that I am going to Romania with the youth group. Why did I hesitate, this is an opportunity that might not come up again. So go for it. I am now excited about experiencing what another country offers, what God will do in the young people and by what God can teach me as well. So here goes, 2012 brings its first opportunity.....
